  • Pine Rock Avenue Hamden, Connecticut - Hamden
Pine Rock, especially by St. Ann Park, needs traffic calming. Average speed of traffic through this residential neighborhood is probably close to 50+. The traffic calming by Bassett Park seems to work very well. New Haven utilizes speed humps and plateaus. A stop sign at Pine Rock and Arch would go a long way to helping with speed as well. The park is very busy during the day and with cars parking up and down Arch & Pine Rock on busier days, something has to be done. There is an apartment complex by the park as well but there's no crosswalk to get over to the park safely, especially when you have to watch for speeders.
  • 346 Pine Rock Ave Hamden, Connecticut - Hamden
Reopen of Issue 439758. Street still turns into a lake during times of heavy rain (confirmed night of 10/25/17). Water extends across sidewalks and has even been higher than steps in front of house. Cars have to drive on the opposite side of the road and even then they're sometimes plowing through water.
  • Pine Rock Ave & Westerfield Hamden, CT - Hamden
Pine Rock at the end of Westerfield constantly floods after any substantial amount of rain.
  • Whitney & Thornton Hamden, CT - Spring Glen
Parking is limited to one side of Thornton (per the posted signs) but people are parking on both sides of the road causing issues when turning onto Thornton from Whitney. There's only room for one car to pass. Perhaps the signs could be replaced and then ticketing begin? I've also noticed this is a drop off location for a ride-share program, so some of these cars aren't going anywhere all day.
  • 345 Pine Rock Avenue Hamden, CT 06514, USA - Hamden

Started small, but getting larger and harder to avoid. This is especially true when turning right onto Westerfield from Pine Rock.

Should be noted this problem is exasperated because the storm drains can't handle the volume of drainage caused by rain. The intersection floods constantly, even covering the newly installed corner side walk pieces.

  • 1150 Dixwell Ave Hamden, CT - Hamden
Parked cars constantly blocking right turn lane (onto Woodin) and blocking bus stop. Requesting some policing and ticketing in the area, please.
  • 257 Fairview Ave Hamden, CT - Hamden
Due to tree cover, the traffic light on Woodin and Fairview is unviewable until you're right on top of it. This issue is regardless of the direction you're going on Woodin.
  • 72-108 Clark St. New Haven, CT - SOHU
Appears the manhole cover at the end of Clark Street was knocked off-kilter this weekend.
  • 189 Davis St New Haven, CT - Hamden
The sign marking the entrance to East Rock Park has been spray painted.
